On June 6, 1938, Vera was untied in marriage with Orval Fink at Ayshire. She then moved to Des Moines and worked for Armand Cosmetic Company. After graduation, she attended Des Moines University where she obtained her teaching certificate and returned to teach for one year at her country school near Emmetsburg. She attended country school near her home and graduated from St. Vera Elizabeth, daughter of Patrick and Amelia (Smith) Molloy was born August 1, 1908, on a farm in Great Oak Township a near Emmetsburg in Palo Alto County, Iowa. and a prayer service led by Father James McAlpin at 7:00 p.m. Prayer services were held Wednesday, May 2, 2001, with the Catholic Daughters Rosary at 4:00 p.m. Interment was held at the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Manning, Iowa with Vera's grandchildren as casket bearers. Lectors were Vera's grandchildren, mass servers will be Chelsie Croghan and Ashley Croghan and gift bearers were Viola Molloy and Sister Marie Molloy with music provided by the Sacred Heart Choir and Maureen Halbur was organist. at the Sacred Heart Church in Manning, Iowa, with Reverend James McAlpin and Reverend Laurence Burns as concelebrants. Laura loved being outdoors, working in her garden and spending time with her family and friends. ![]() Prior to working for ContactPointe she was an Executive Assistant for The Frank Gates Service Company. At the time of her diagnosis Laura held the position of Office Manager of ContactPointe in Westerville. Laura attended the Cornerstone Church of Christ in Christian Union of Plain City. She was a longtime resident of Plain City and a 1987 graduate of Jonathan Alder High School. ![]() ![]() Phillips, age 51, of Ostrander, Ohio passed away Saturday afternoon, April 17, 2021, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
